Do you supply and restock washroom consumables?
Yes. We supply the full range of washroom consumables, including soap, hand towels and toilet roll, and keep them stocked as part of the service. We track how quickly your washrooms get through them and top up before they run out, so nobody is caught short. You can choose everyday, premium or eco-certified products at your walkthrough, and if you only want supply without the full clean we can do that on its own.
How do you handle sanitary and hygiene waste?
We provide and service sanitary units, nappy bins and other hygiene units on a scheduled cycle, with the waste removed and disposed of by a licensed carrier in line with the legal duty of care. It is all part of the same washroom service, so you are not managing a separate hygiene-unit contractor on the side.
How often should office washrooms be cleaned?
Most office washrooms should be cleaned and sanitised at least once every working day, with busier or higher-footfall sites topped up through the day by a day porter. Daily cleaning keeps them hygienic and presentable and helps control the spread of germs. We will recommend the right frequency at your walkthrough, based on your headcount and how heavily the washrooms are used.
Are your washroom cleaners vetted and insured?
Yes. Every operative is vetted, DBS-checked, uniformed and trained, and Opti Clean is fully insured. We work to the procedures and practices of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SafeContractor, CHAS and BICSc while we pursue certification, and we use colour-coded equipment so washroom cleaning is kept properly separate from the rest of your office.
