What is a post-construction or sparkle clean?
It is a specialist clean carried out after building, fit-out or refurbishment work to make a space genuinely ready to occupy. It removes fine construction dust, adhesive residue, paint, plaster, grout haze and stickers that a normal clean leaves behind, and brings glass, surfaces and floors to a handover standard.
What is the difference between a builders clean and a sparkle clean?
They are usually two stages of the same process. A builders clean is the first, rougher clean that removes debris and the heaviest dust once the tools are down. The sparkle clean is the final, detailed clean just before handover, when everything is brought up to an occupation-ready finish. Larger projects need both.
Why can't we just use a normal clean after a refurbishment?
Because construction dust is ultra-fine and keeps resettling for days, and residues like adhesive, paint and grout haze need specialist removal. A standard clean shifts the surface layer, then the dust drifts back down and the space looks unfinished again. A multi-stage post-fit-out clean deals with it properly so it stays clean.
Do you work to our handover deadline, including nights and weekends?
Yes. Sparkle cleans sit at the end of a project against a fixed handover date, so we plan around your programme and work nights or weekends where needed to hit it. We coordinate around any trades still finishing so the clean lands at the right point, not too early to matter.
Can you clear the space as well as clean it?
Yes. Our office clearance team can strip out old furniture, IT and materials before we clean, so a clearance and a handover clean are handled as one coordinated job rather than two separate contractors you have to line up.
How much does a post-construction clean cost?
