What Opti Clean does with your details when you ask for a quote, get in touch or apply for a job, and which cookies this website uses.

What we collect, and why

- Contact details for the people we deal with, site and access information, the cleaning specification, and invoicing details.

- To deliver and manage the service and to invoice you.

- Performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations (for example tax records).
- What
- Your name, phone number, email, area or postcode, the role you are interested in, whether you are eligible to work in the UK, your availability, and your CV if you upload one.

- To consider your application and contact you about it.
- Our lawful basis
- Taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting. If we offer you a role we carry out right-to-work, reference and DBS checks, and explain those at that point.

- Technical information such as your browser type and the pages you view, collected through cookies (section 7).

- To keep the site secure and working and, if you agree, to understand how it is used.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not include it in a message.
Who we share it with
We never sell your details and we do not share them for other companies’ marketing.
We use a small number of suppliers who process information for us, under contract and only on our instructions:
- Wix, which hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- Our email and office software provider ([provider]).
- Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Our accountant and professional advisers, where needed.
We may also share information where the law requires it. Opti Connect, our client and team app, has its own privacy notice, which you see when you are given access.
Where your information is stored
Some of our suppliers store information outside the UK. Where that happens we make sure it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by the contractual safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it

Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, or limit how we use it;
- stop using it where we rely on legitimate interests;
- send it to you or another organisation in a usable format;
- stop using it at any time where we rely on your consent.

Please tell us first at hello@opti-cleaning.co.uk. We acknowledge every complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome without undue delay. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website places on your device. We use two kinds, and no advertising cookies.
Essential cookies are set by Wix, which hosts the site. They do not need your consent.

Analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*, lasting up to 2 years) that tell us which pages are visited and how people find us. We see totals, not individuals.
Changing your mind. Use “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if what we do changes, and change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will say so on the site.
